APRILグループの女性フォークリフトドライバー

今年の国際女性デーは、職場における男女平等の推進におけるAPRILグループの進捗を称え、すべての人にとって公平な環境を作るという当社のコミットメントを再確認します。2020年11月以降、APRILグループはAPRIL2030 インクルーシブ。プログレスの目標達成に向け、職場におけるジェンダー平等の推進に積極的に取り組んできました。

当グループは2021年11月より国連女性のエンパワーメント原則(WEPs)の署名企業として、職場における女性の機会均等と参加を推進するグローバルスタンダードとの整合性を高めるべく取り組んでいます。また、2022年1月には、独立した人権方針を発表し、女性の機会均等と参加を含む職場における機会均等と多様性を推進し、あらゆる形態の差別とハラスメントの排除を目指すことを組織として公約しています。

我々は、特にこの業界において、女性のリーダーシップと女性の労働力への取り込みを促進するという課題を認識し、2030年までに5人に1人の割合にするという目標を設定しました。この目標を達成してから2年が経過し、新たに採用した女性の数を4倍に増やし、労働人口に占める女性の割合を3%増加させることができたことを誇りに思います。

また、昨年は、事業部ごとにダイバーシティの目標を掲げたことも、我々にとって転機となりました。男性優位の職種に女性が配置されるようになり、例えば、電力部門のチームでは女性の割合が倍増しました。

さらに、技術オペレーションや機械工学など、科学、技術、工学、数学(STEM)に関連する職務に就く女性の数を増やす取り組みも行っています。我々は、事業全体で女性が活躍できるポジションをマッピングし、新しい採用プロセスにおける重要なフォーカスエリアとしています。

我々は、リアウ州パンカラン・ケリンチでの事業が、男女平等を推進することで、女性にとって安全で支援的な環境を提供するために改善し続けることができると認識しています。そのために、新米ママのために、いつでも利用できる授乳室を建物内に設置するなど、さまざまなニーズに対応した設備を整えています。また、安全対策として、従業員の移動手段に妊産婦のための特別席を設けています。さらに、パンカラン・ケリンチの女性従業員をサポートするために、24時間体制のヘルスケアサービス、メンタルヘルスサービス、デイケア施設など、さまざまな特典を用意しています。

APRILグループは、社内の役割が男女ともに等しく利用できるようにするための代替手段を継続的に模索しています。我々は、技術、イノベーション、オートメーションの応用により、伝統的に男性優位であった肉体的に厳しい仕事を、すべての人に開放することができるように取り組んでいます。我々の目標は、労働人口に占める女性の数を増やす方法として、男性にも女性にも平等に事業運営の機会を提供することです。

妊婦への補食相談の実施

我々の仕事はこれで終わりではありません。我々は、近隣のコミュニティで女性のための機会を創出するために、重要な役割を果たすことができると考えています。例えば、妊産婦のための栄養価の高い補助食品を提供したり、地域開発プログラムを通じて女性のエンパワーメントをサポートしたりといった取り組みです。昨年は、70人以上の女性経営者を支援し、1000人以上の人々に仕事を提供しました。また、Krealogiとのパートナーシップにより、デジタルリテラシーを向上させることで、地域の中小企業30社(うち80%が女性経営者)が月収を最大40%増加させることができました。

我々の地域開発プログラムも、バイアスを打ち破る変容を遂げました。2022年から、重機のオペレーターやメカニックとして地元の女性を育成し、それをAPRILグループが100%吸収しています。こうした取り組みなどを通じて、すべての人にとってより強く、より持続可能なコミュニティづくりに貢献できることを誇りに思います。

2030年に向けて、我々はすべての従業員とともに、より包括的で公平な職場、そしてより広い地域社会の実現に向けた取り組みを続けていきます。

Particular waste types as described above are measured as a wet waste and converted to a bone dry (BD) weight. APRIL follows the international GHG protocol as developed by WRI/WBCSD to develop its emissions profile. The total emissions measured as emissions intensity is calculated based on tonnes of Scope 1 and 2 Mill Greenhouse Gas Emissions per tonne of product (paper, pulp and viscose). The emissions boundary scope covers gate-to-gate (wood processing in wood yard until pulp, paper and viscose production) of the three main GHGs: CO2, CH4, and N2O.

Method

To quantify the total GHG emission and removals across APRIL’s land bank from land use, APRIL follows the GHG Protocol Agricultural Guidance and IPCC Guidelines for Agricultural, Forestry, and Other Land Use. To detect the land cover change within the look-back period, i.e. 20 years APRIL utilized the remotely sensed data.

The GHG emission will be calculated as the total of carbon stock changes in woody biomass and soil organic carbon and include all major carbon fluxes such as peat decomposition, plantation growth and harvesting, and fires.

To quantify the amount of carbon unit to balance the emission, the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), the Climate, Community and Biodiversity Standards (CCB), or other internationally accepted standard will be used.
