Integrity defines how we operate, implemented through our regulatory compliance, certifications, and internal policies.

  • We adhere to RGE Group’s Global Code of Conduct, which guides our ethical and business conduct, reflecting our core value of integrity. To ensure continued compliance, we have a robust governance structure comprising our Executive Management Committee, Leadership Team, internal business departments, and independent advisory groups.
  • To foster transparency and collaboration industry wide, we actively engage with regulatory bodies, local and national government branches, NGOs, international organizations, and other partners, seeking to understand and support their priorities, and communicate our objectives.
  • We comply with all relevant environmental regulations in support of national and global climate targets and adhere to industry standards and certification schemes for international market requirements around both our forestry and manufacturing operations.
  • A comprehensive product assessment in 2023 confirmed that our products are 100% compliant with marketing and labelling regulations.

Integrity of our operations and management

  • Our management facilities comply with relevant ISO and OHSAS standards.
  • Our integrated mill carries the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Chain of Custody certification, confirming that we source PEFC-certified products at the manufacturing level and can trace our PEFC supply back to its source.
  • 93% of our plantations are certified under the PEFC Forest Management (PEFC-FM) standard, showing that our products come from sustainably managed forests.
  • All our land concessions are certified against two mandatory Indonesian government schemes: the Sustainable Production Forest Management (PHPL) and Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (SVLK) standards.
  • We actively disclose our environmental impact data to CDP Forests.
  • We participate in the sustainability ratings assessments run by EcoVadis.
  • Our annual Sustainability Reports align with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Reporting Matters guidelines.
  • For our 2023 Sustainability Report, KPMG LLP Canada provided assurance on specific sustainability reporting indicators.
  • We participate in the fashion sector’s Manmade Cellulosic Fibre-producer Hot Button Ranking for sustainability run by Canopy.
  • We are a committed signatory of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) that upholds socially responsible business practices.

Integrity of our products

  • Our paper products are certified against the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (TKDN) local content standard.
  • Our paper products comply with the Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) for paper products.
  • PaperOne™ is certified by Singapore Environmental Council’s Green Label Scheme.
  • PaperOne™ has voluntarily met EU Ecolabel criteria and is Ecolabel Graphic Paper certified.
  • Our viscose products comply with the Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) for technical sulphuric acid.
  • Our viscose sister company, Asia Pacific Rayon (APR), holds a Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Certified Material Health Certificate™.
  • Our viscose staple fibre and yarn adhere to several standards that include the OEKO-TEX®, FKT, and OK biodegradability labels.
  • We participate in the Zoological Society of London’s Sustainable Palm Oil Transparency Toolkit (ZSL SPOTT) timber and pulp assessment.
