The Independent Peat Expert Working Group (IPEWG) was established to help APRIL fulfill the commitments in its Sustainable Forest Management Policy (SFMP 2.0) related to its peatland operations. In 2021, the IPEWG held three meetings, its fourteenth, fifteenth, and sixteenth, which discussed peatland research and APRIL operational updates. In 2025, we continued to advance our sustainability agenda by implementing and reviewing sustainability measures across the organisation. This report highlights our progress, key achievements, and challenges in meeting our APRIL2030 targets and sustainability best practice indicators.
