The Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) held its 11th meeting on 12 – 15 September, 2017 in Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau to discuss updates related to peatland management, suppliers’ compliance with the Sustainable Forest Management Policy 2.0 and fire prevention, among other topics.

On September 12, 2017, the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) met with various Riau stakeholders in Pekanbaru to discuss the following agenda:
- Updating stakeholders in Riau on the previous and current (2017) assurance processes and for APRIL to report on the status of Action Plans for KPMG PRI’s 2016 Assurance Report findings.
- To receive inputs from local stakeholders on the development of SFMP 2.0 indicators for the 2018 assurance, as these indicators are the key instrument to monitor APRIL’s performance on SFMP 2.0 delivery.
