{"id":12044,"date":"2018-04-19T13:41:53","date_gmt":"2018-04-19T13:41:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/april.hellopomelo.space\/2018\/04\/19\/twelfth-stakeholder-advisory-committee-sac-meeting\/"},"modified":"2025-02-20T07:45:36","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T07:45:36","slug":"twelfth-stakeholder-advisory-committee-sac-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/april.hellopomelo.space\/id\/articles\/twelfth-stakeholder-advisory-committee-sac-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Twelfth Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) held its 12<sup>th<\/sup> meeting on 18-20 March 2018 in Jakarta, followed by a stakeholder forum in Riau province.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aprilasia.com\/en\/sustainability\/stakeholder-advisory-committee\/about-sac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> SAC<\/a> reviews APRIL\u2019s implementation of the Sustainable Forest Management Policy including landscape scale management and implementation of an expanded community forestry program as well as suppliers\u2019 compliance with the policy.<\/p>\n<p>In the Jakarta meeting, APRIL management also presented a report on the latest status of the company\u2019s long-term work plan (RKU) and restoration plan.<a href=\"https:\/\/april.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/SAC-meeting-report_link.pdf\"> The meeting report is available for viewing and download here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On 21 March, the SAC travels to Riau province to meet and held discussions with a range of stakeholders that includes local non-governmental organizations, government representatives, academics and the private sector.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the meeting is for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aprilasia.com\/en\/sustainability\/stakeholder-advisory-committee\/about-sac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">SAC<\/a> members to gain firsthand information and inputs from Riau-based stakeholders on the 2018 SFMP 2.0 implementation assessment plan and its field check samples.
